Where Food and Hope Grow Together ...The Betty and Jim Holmes Food Bank Garden provides all its produce to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, serving food pantries, children, seniors' programs and homeless shelters in 18 counties of northwest NC from Boone to Burlington.

Carla Arrowood, a regular volutneer, brought her children and 12 others from their 4 H Trailblazers group. They were energetic and enthusiastic in harvesting, weeding and taking care of the garden.
